Rockstar also fixed a lot of issues from GTA:IV such as better mission checkpoints, better bike handling and opening the entire map from the very start.
Also once you get past the first few “boring” missions the rest are pretty damn crazy and challenging. There are lots of missions that help flesh out the GTA:IV story and fill in the blanks in regard to the main story characters such a Nico, Roman, Elizabeta and Ray. I recent did a 100% run of GTA:IV and was left hungry for more, so I decided to give TLaD another shot. Being part of an outlaw bike gang sounded cool but it didn’t hold my interest and I only completed a few missions. I didn’t care much for Johnnie and really hated Billy. I only played it for a few hours before putting it down as I found it difficult to care about any of the protagonists or antagonists in the story.
